A Certified School Nurse (CSN) is needed to provide nursing services for a K-12 school in Frankfort, IL. This position is a contract role for the current school year and serves as a backfill opportunity.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Certification as a School Nurse (CSN) preferred
• Experience working with school-age children in a healthcare or school setting
• Ability to assess and manage student health needs, provide first aid, medication administration, and health education
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with school staff, students, and families
  
  

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to students, including health assessments, screenings, and immunizations
• Manage chronic conditions and respond to emergencies on campus
• Maintain accurate health records and comply with state and federal regulations
• Provide health education and promote wellness initiatives within the school community
